Job Title : Electromechanical Technician/ ElectromecanicienPrimary Job Functions :Operational support & troubleshootingo Perform unplanned/reactive electrical, mechanical repairso Ensure proper knowledge and utilization of WiToolo Non-technical support for equipment operatorso System performance monitoring and operational status awarenesso Diagnosis of general electrical and mechanical faultso Ensure proper utilization of tools and spare partsPlanned Maintenanceo Perform planned electrical and mechanical maintenance work orders as per company policies andprocedureso Execution and documentation of maintenance activitieso Exchange and set up of electrical/mechanical partso Perform the required cleaning of equipmento Adherence and implementation of 5S principleso Accountable for the audit results, individual EM efficiency and downtime minimizationQualifications:o Relevant Electrical and/or Mechanical Qualificationo Post-secondary training in a trade school (DEP/Trade School/Electrician/Millwright or equivalent)
Knowledge/Experience required:o Electrically and mechanically maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated equipment including butnot limited to conveyors, cranes and hoists.o Mechanically inclined and proficient in mechanical repairs and use of hand/power tools is a MUSTo 1-2 years minimal experience as an electromechanical techniciano Good mechanical maintenance and repair skillso Practical attitude and ability to learn new taskso Excellent PC skillso Must be able to work at heights up to 30 meters after extensive training and with adequate personalprotective equipment (PPE) including a fall protection safety harnesso Must be able to work in conditions of +5C up to -28C with personal protective equipment (PPE)provided including cold temperature gear, facial gear, gloves, and handwarmers.o Must be able to work days, evenings and nights and weekends (After ramp up begins, preferred shiftswill be assigned based on hire date and operational requirements)o Familiarity with AC up to 600/400/480 volt and DC up to 24 voltso Familiarity with wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuringo Familiarity with electrical/mechanical drive technology (i.e. motors and gears)o Familiarity with control technology (i.e. controls/inverter)o Electrical and/or Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience with industrial equipmentand machineryo Familiarity with PLC logic
