Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, machinery, and production equipment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including motors, conveyors, sensors, PLCs, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Install, configure, and set up new machinery and equipment to meet production objectives. Analyze, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults in machinery and equipment. Make necessary adjustments during production to ensure equipment efficiency and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics. Maintain accurate maintenance records and document work according to procedures. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and setup performance. Collaborate with production teams and other maintenance personnel to resolve issues and improve workflow. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, and company policies. Train and support other mechanics, electromechanics, and operators as needed. Submit requisitions for replacement parts and participate in equipment-related projects. Perform any other related tasks as required by the company.

Qualifications:

D.E.P. or D.E.C. in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or Industrial Mechanics. Minimum 3 years of experience in electromechanics or industrial maintenance, preferably in chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food production environments. Bilingual (English/French)

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
