Your function

I am currently recruiting an Electromechanic for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the field of metallurgy located in Chambly -- Permanent position 40h week - in person - night shift
Hours : 7pm - 7am - (Week 1 (Mon-Mar-Fri-Sat), Week 2 (Sun-Wed-Thu)

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks :

- Corrective maintenance and repair of equipment
- Adjust and calibrate measuring and control instruments
- Participate in production start-up and commissioning
- Carry out checks during production, making any necessary adjustments
- Participate in the implementation of automated machines or specific parts
- Apply safety procedures and comply with standards
- Other related maintenance tasks

Your professional skills

- Versatility, ability to analyze and solve problems
- Strong technical understanding, attention to detail
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage priorities

Your profile
-At least 1 to 2 years\' experience in a similar position
French-speaking profile - English an asset
-DEC or DEP in mechanical or electrical engineering, or other relevant field
-Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics
-Knowledge of OHS regulations
-Salary: $31.74 upon hiring, plus night premium ($1/hour), weekend premium ($2.50/hour) and maintenance crew premium ($1/hour)

Permanent 40h/week face-to-face position - Night shift - benefits and RRSP program

We\'re looking for a technical, hands-on person who can support production operators and handle emergencies. Our ideal candidate is a team player who is used to working in medium-sized plants and managing several things at the same time.
