Job Title: Electro Technological Officer (ETO)
Reports To: Chief Engineer
The Electrical Technical Officer (ETO) is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all electrical machinery and assiciated controls on board the vessel.
PRE-REQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a Marine Electronics Technician Position
- Post-Secondary Education in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or equivalent)
- STCW Basic Safety Training
- Marine First Aid
- H2S Alive
- WHMIS 2015
- Valid Seafarers Medical
- Valid Canadian Passport
- Contribute to a positive HSEQ culture on board the vessel.
- Providing technical support for diagnostics and repair of electrical systems and reference systems currently in place
- Participating in maintenance periods in port and in dry dock
- Other Duties as Assigned
