to join our team for an upcoming project in Regina, SK. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across construction projects.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment on construction and industrial sites, ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations
Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults or malfunctions in machinery, equipment, and wiring systems
Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and meet safety standards
Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to coordinate electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs
Follow and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members and compliance with electrical safety standards
Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of electrical systems and equipment
Use appropriate tools, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance and care of all tools and resources
Requirements
Proven experience working as an electrician, with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
In-depth understanding of electrical safety practices and regulations
Ability to identify electrical hazards and take appropriate corrective actions
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions
Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other trades on-site
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis
