Job Description

First Onsite is seeking to hire an Electrician who will work closely with the construction team.

Our Electricians are responsible to lay out, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in buildings and other structures.

You will assess situations, think critically and determine suitable solutions along with utilize your math skills to complete measurements and analyze energy readings.

This role requires an experienced electrician (ideally with a Red Seal endorsement) who is comfortable with digital technology and can successfully communicate with stakeholders.

Experience:

• The completion of a four to five-year apprenticeship program is preferred
• You'll know how to read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
• You can accurately calculate electrical requirements, measurements, offsets and energy readings
• You have calculated material costs and time for projects
• You can follow and lead by example all First Onsite health and safety policies and procedures and ensure that these are followed for all First Onsite personnel and sub-contractors
• You have experience working with property owners and occupants in a professional and courteous manner
• You have the ability to work on your feet, climb ladders/scaffolds, able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.

• Critical thinking and decision making
