ROLE TITLE: INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN (1 year term) DEPARTMENT: ENGINEERING MAINTENANCE REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR, ELECTRICAL HOURS : ROTATIONAL SHIFT, 7:00 – 15:30, 15:00 -23:30 and 23:30-7:00 Reporting to the Supervisor - you will be responsible for ensuring the continued safe operation of electrical systems and equipment by carrying out electrical repairs, calibrations, and maintenance. Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems on equipment
• Use test instruments to diagnose problems, work from blueprints, drawings, layout, or other specifications to locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical system and equipment.
• Calibrate production and facility instrumentation, and completion of all relevant documentation.
• Perform equipment qualifications update drawings as required and assist with the technical writing of qualification / validation documents regarding electrical equipment and services.
• Consult with Parts Coordinator, vendors and OEM for spare parts and resolving equipment operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code, Provincial and local Department of Labour Standards, safety regulations, good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the area of occupational health, safety, and wellness.

Education and Experience :

• Industrial Electrician (Red Seal Qualification is required
• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a GMP manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of control and automation including Rockwell PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and process controls.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office and maintenance programs. (SAP).

• Proven ability to work unsupervised, with great customer service and time management skills.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, attention to detail and a team player.
• Ability to regularly perform physical movements such as bending, lifting, twisting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
