Mainway Electric Ltd. is an established industrial/commercial electrical company based in Burlington, Ontario. We are currently looking to hire a licensed 309A Journeyman Electrician to join our team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

We are looking for a licensed 309A Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 5-8 years experience as a journeyman in an industrial/commercial setting. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Must be able to work in a variety of settings, as well as both indoors and outdoors year round. Strong knowledge and the ability to carry out industrial installations including, EMT and rigid conduit, wire, VFD wiring, automation and control wiring and associated equipment is required. The ideal candidate will also be expected to oversee and teach apprentices. Our journeymen are also given the use of a work vehicle, which they are required to keep clean and professional at all times.

Job Requirements:
- Hold a valid 309A Electrical License: Construction and Maintenance, with a minimum of 5-8 years journeyman experience in a commercial/industrial setting.
- Have a strong knowledge of Ontario Electrical Code.
- Hold a valid Canadian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Understand how to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot.
- Ability to carry out industrial installations including, EMT and rigid conduit, wire, and associated equipment.

- Working at heights training, WHMIS, and lift training required

- Able to work after hours or weekends as required
