Job Description

Nor-Tech Power & Controls Inc. specializes in industrial control systems and electrical maintenance & construction, working extensively in Water/Wastewater & batching systems. Based in the Sudbury Region, we serve customers within Northern Ontario.

Total wage package ranges from $72.44/hour to $78.45, including union benefits and pension. Regular hours of work Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Seeking a 309A journeyperson specializing in troubleshooting, industrial control systems, instrumentation, knowledge of PLC wiring, motor control, transformers and distribution equipment up to 600V, repairs, and installations (600VAC to 12VDC). Continued learning necessary as the industry controls environment develops.

The successful person will have experience in the following areas:

Install, testing, and maintaining electrical control systems Planning and installation of cable, conduit, and cable trays Install, terminate, and program automation & instrumentation equipment Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical control systems Must be able to interpret electrical plan drawings and control drawings Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:

309A Electrician certification (required) Registered with Ontario College of Trades Driver's License (required) Existing IBEW membership not required, however the successful candidate is required to become a member of the collective bargaining agreement

Pay: $47.54-$52.82 per hour
