POSITION: Electrician

LOCATION: Guelph, Ontario

LEVEL: Individual Contributor

DESCRIPTION:

Continental Shift Rotation (Days, nights and weekend) required

Hourly Rate:

Single Ticket: $42.95 to start, $44.66 after 4 months

Multi ticket: $43.85 to start, $45.56 after 4 months

*Plus additional shift premiums for continental shift

• Perform electrical services to maintain safe and efficient operations to all plant and warehouse equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment overhauls
• Troubleshoot and repair Brewery equipment in fast paced environment to minimize downtime
• Install new equipment, if required
• Mechanical and plumbing work as required
• Maintain all records / documentation and ensure completion of paperwork
• Rotational shift, including continental pattern and weekends, as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Provincial Industrial Electrician License - Certificate of Apprenticeship
• 3+ years experience as a Licensed Journeyman Electrician
• Experienced in safe working practices: confined space entry, lockout / tagout, hotwork
• Process and Instrumentation knowledge and experience
• Able to work with limited supervision
• Working knowledge of CMMS or similar maintenance systems
• Experience with: PLC (A.B.), HMI, Control Logix, Ethernet, & Data High Way environment
• Be able to program and modify PLC programs
• Adhere to the food safety required as per job duties and report non-conformities

ASSETS:

• Experience in the beverage industry
• Experience with process and packaging equipment
• Basic welding, mechanical and plumbing knowledge
• Refrigeration B License
