Under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager, the Industrial Electrician will work as part of a team to install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in a manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Work as part of the production team to wire Air Handling Units (AHUs) according to electrical schematics, blueprints, and production specifications. Interpret and apply electrical drawings and schematics with accuracy to ensure proper function and code compliance of all wiring and control systems. Train and mentor junior or less experienced team members in proper wiring techniques, schematic interpretation, blueprint reading, and the use of specialized pinning and wiring tools. Maintain a high standard of quality in all electrical installations by performing visual checks, function testing, and ensuring all work meets internal and external standards. Test and verify electrical panels and wiring for functionality, safety, and compliance before final commissioning. Collaborate with the HVAC commissioning team to assist in testing, diagnosing, and repairing the electrical systems within AHUs when required. Work closely with our electrical designer to review and validate the accuracy and clarity of electrical drawings Ensure all electrical work aligns with production schedules and safety regulations while maintaining focus on craftsmanship and efficiency. Support continuous improvement by identifying process improvements and participating in quality assurance efforts related to the electrical building of units. Assist in other production tasks or special electrical projects as needed Overtime as required Skills, Education, and/or Experience Licensed Electrician 442A 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning license considered an asset Minimum 3 years' Industrial Electrician experience required with preference given to those with a background in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician, with strong preference given to candidates with HVAC system knowledge and hands-on experience with Air Handling Units and control systems Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings Familiarity with control wiring, low-voltage systems, and commissioning electrical components Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, particularly in a production or equipment assembly setting Experience working with or training others on wiring best practices, tool usage (pinning/crimping tools), and control layouts Effective communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to junior team members Self-motivated and dependable with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Basic computer literacy for documentation and referencing digital schematics or production tools

Job Conditions

Work may involve the use of ladders, kneeling, and working inside confined spaces such as Air Handling Units Physically demanding. Standard Weekday working hours with no on- call requirements Extended periods of time standing or sitting Factory, Warehouse Ability to lift and carry objects weighing over 25 lbs but not more then 50 lbs.
