Position Summary

We're seeking a Licensed Electrician (309A) to join our team and support electrical work related to fire alarm, emergency lighting, and life safety systems. The ideal candidate has experience in service and troubleshooting, not just construction. This role involves performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in commercial, industrial, and residential settings with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs tied to fire alarm and life safety systems Troubleshoot electrical issues in existing systems and perform necessary repairs Complete wiring, terminations, and conduit runs in accordance with ESA and CAN ULC standards Support new system installations, retrofits, and upgrades alongside fire alarm and suppression technicians Ensure all electrical work meets Ontario Electrical Code and company quality standards Maintain clear, detailed digital reports and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams Participate in on call rotation as required for emergency service work

Qualifications

Valid 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician License (required) Minimum 3 years of field experience as a licensed electrician Experience with fire alarm, life safety, or low voltage systems is an asset Solid understanding of the Ontario Electrical Code and relevant fire protection standards (CAN ULC, NFPA) Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Valid G Class driver's license with clean abstract Residency in the GTA preferred

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
