Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in various electrical systems and possess strong leadership skills and knowledge of project requirements.

This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects between commercial and residential settings

Responsibilities - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams - Panel Schedules, Wiring diagrams, Designer Plans, Mill work drawings
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment for electrical work
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions
- Be a leader among other team members on projects requiring electrical expertise, Teaching Apprentices, Directing other electricians on projects, Gathering material lists required for projects
- Ensure compliance with Ontario electrical safety code and Ontario Building Code

- Safe Driving habits with company vehicles

Requirements - Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in Custom Home Electrical Wiring

- Proficiency in EV Charger, Hot tub, and Electrical Panel Upgrades for Residential Installs

- Proficiency in Commercial Retail, Restaurant and Warehousing wiring methods

- Skills required : Bending EMT Conduit, Commercial Wiring Methods AC90 and T90 Wire Pulls
- Experience reading blue prints , spec requirements, load calculations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Nice-to-have skills: Maintenance Person experience, ability to build or renovate using electrical knowledge
