Electrical Technician/Assembler

, located at our Huntsville Facility.

Job Overview

The Electrical Technician will be working in the mounting and finishing departments. The candidate will be completing the electrical and mechanical hook ups of refuse packer bodies to truck chassis.

Duties:

Installing lights such as turn signals, marker lights and beacons, complete light bars as well as mounting them to the body

Conduct functional testing of multiple electrical components for operation of the packer system

Operating an overhead crane system

Mounting electrical, electronic and wiring components to connect equipment and accessories between body and chassis.

Be in frequent communication with Engineering Department, Management and other teams.

Skills:

A working knowledge of electrical components such as relays, switches, wiring harnesses etc.

Experience interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams.

High School, Trade School or Post-Secondary School

Experience in working with hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing

Forklift experience preferred

. Heavy Truck Experience would be an asset

Possess the initiative to work independently.

Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to focus on the task at hand.
