We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, settings.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to specifications and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various electrical tasks. Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs. Learn to work with low voltage systems as well as high voltage applications under supervision. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to electrical systems.

Requirements

Basic understanding of electrical concepts and terminology is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in electrical work. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Willingness to learn about low voltage systems as well as industrial electrician practices. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards on job sites. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Must be physically fit, able to lift heavy materials, and stand for extended periods.
