Community Electric Ltd. (CEL) is a Western-Canada Electrical & Instrumentation Contractor with branches from BC to Manitoba. CEL specializes in Electrical Construction in Industrial, Process, Agricultural, and Commercial Construction industries including Preventative Maintenance and Service. We are currently recruiting Project Managers in our Langley, BC office.
Position Overview
We're looking for a driven and experienced Project Manager who has progressed from the tools to leadership -- someone who brings hands-on expertise, strong organizational skills, and a proven ability to deliver results. As a Red Seal or Journeyperson professional with at least five years of project management experience, you'll play a key role in guiding CEL's continued growth and ensuring our projects are completed safely, efficiently, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Project Management Key Responsibilities
Manage electrical projects to ensure they meet project budgets, timeline and specifications.
Estimating.
Change order management.
Monitor project compliance of CEL Safety Program while promoting a positive and safe culture
Be the main point of contact with the client while building and maintaining a positive relationship
Scheduling of manpower & resources
Procurement and coordination of materials & subcontractors
Contract and Change Order Management
Complete monthly invoices and T & M invoices to ensure positive cash flow
Detailed estimating and pursuit management for new projects as assigned by the Branch Manager
Qualifications
Interprovincial Journeyman License or Electrical Technologist Diploma
Minimum 5 years Project Management experience in an industrial, light industrial or manufacturing setting
Minimum 2 years Estimating Experience with a strong attention to detail
Good working knowledge of MS Office and Accubid estimating software
Excellent communication and customer relation skills
FSR-A or FSR-B certificate is an asset.
Results oriented team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
