Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and lead electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management and estimating. Your primary focus will be on effective estimating and carrying through to the project planning, team coordination, budget management, and collaboration with various stakeholders. With your adaptability, strong communication skills, and comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, you will be the key to project success.

Roles and Responsibilities

Select an invitation to tender from our database of customers and opportunities currently unexplored. Prepare and provide estimates for division 26 and division 27 scopes of work for construction projects.

Lead and manage electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Develop and monitor project budgets, track costs, and prepare regular financial reports for management review.

Additional project management responsibilities include approving invoices from vendors, monthly progress billing, procurement, and change order management.

Implement effective coaching strategies to address challenges, optimize workflows, and improve overall project performance.

Develop and draft code and specification-compliant electrical layouts for implementation of field staff.

Act as main point of contact for field staff.

Skills and Qualifications

Proficient in standard software used by project managers including: Accubid, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam.

Knowledgeable of subcontracts, tender processes, and general construction procedures.

Strong understanding of CEC and all jurisdictional codes /standards related to the electrical technology.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and verbal /written communication skills.

Self driven, team player that is independently motivated to achieve business and career goals.

Team player who can successfully work with diverse internal and external partners.

Requirements

(Required) 2-years minimum project manager or project coordinator experience.

(Required) Red-Seal certification construction electrician.

(Required) Minimum 5-years of field experience in commercial construction.

(Required) Ability to prepare electrical estimates from Trimble Accubid.

(Preferred) FSR-A or FSR-B certification.

(Preferred) associate's degree in project management or related field.

Pay: $85,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
