This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager and is responsible for electrical manufacturing assembly and controller building.
Responsibilities
Represent Delta's core values of Integrity, Service and Quality in relationships with both internal staff members and external customers and suppliers.
Follow Delta Elevator policies and procedures, Employee Handbook, and Health & Safety Manual guidelines.
Wire point to point electrical components of elevator control panels.
Place and mount mechanical components to panel back plate.
Mount PCB's in mechanical assemblies.
Adhere to and provide feedback on work orders, BOM and drawing packages.
Maintain/monitor stock levels and kanbans, reorder as required.
Move incoming stock into inventory.
Able to meet deadlines while ensuring product quality.
Perform continuity testing on completed electrical assemblies.
Follow and improve Electrical Department procedures and work instructions.
Monitor manufacturing job status process and communicate with team members.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly.
Commitment to Delta's corporate values.
Graduate of electrical/electronic college program would be an asset.
Ability to read schematics.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to perform point to point wiring.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work with minimal direction or supervision.
