to join our team and keep our production equipment running reliably and efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and equipment setup/startup in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent).
Support machine setup, commissioning, and equipment startup.
Diagnose and repair electrical issues on production equipment (VFDs, motors, sensors, HMIs, safety circuits).
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
Read, interpret, and update electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
Work closely with production and engineering to improve machine reliability and efficiency.
Ensure all work meets company safety standards and electrical codes.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
Experience with 24VDC control circuits and 120/220/380/480/600V 3-phase systems.
Proficiency with VFDs, sensors, relays, and machine control systems.
Ability to commission new equipment, perform I/O checks, and support machine startups.
Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
Nice to Have
Experience with high-speed web handling, extrusion, flexographic printing, or packaging lines.
Familiarity with industrial networking, Ethernet/IP, or HMI configuration.
Basic mechanical aptitude (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings).
