ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR, Edmonton-Nisku, AB PTW is hiring an Electrical Estimator to join our team in the Nisku area. Estimating RENEWABLE projects is a real bonus! If you have at least 3-4 years of Electrical Estimating experience with exposure to; Industrial, Mining & Minerals, Oil & Gas, and construction market AND a successful background in winning projects, we want to hear from you! You will be able to take initiative, set priorities and be able to produce a detailed proposal efficiently. A DAY IN THE LIFE\xe2\x80\xa6

• Reviews proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required content of the estimate.
• Provides input regarding estimating strategies including profitability, risk management, execution strategy, and costs.
• Consults with other departments to ensure labour, equipment and materials reflect current pricing, construction costs and timelines.
• Attends site visits as required.
• Prepares and presents estimate plans, estimate schedules and man-hour budgets.
• Prepares cost estimates associated with scope changes.

• A Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience or an estimator with at least 3 years previous electrical estimating experience.
• Industrial field experience is preferred.
• Experience in Estimating Renewable (Wind, Solar) Projects is preferred.
• Experience working with estimating software. Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Exceptional time-management skills. Able to prioritize and execute multiple tasks quickly. Thrives in a busy, deadline-oriented environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail. Good problem solver and critical thinker.

• Travel to pre-tender sites as required (Across North America)
• Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and be resourceful.
