We currently have exciting opportunities within our Pulp & Paper Division operations for Electrical Engineering Students to join our teams in Saint John and Utopia, New Brunswick, for the Fall 2024 Work Term.Qualifications:\xc2\xb7Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering and in good academic standing\xc2\xb7Team player with a safety-first mindset\xc2\xb7Ability to affectively time manage multiple projects.\xc2\xb7Working knowledge of Microsoft Office\xc2\xb7Long-term interest in an engineering careerWhat You Can Expect from your Work Term:You will get a hands-on work term working in our state-of-the-art facilities alongside our world-class professionals.Tasks may include:\xc2\xb7Working with contractors and mill personnel to determine scope, planning and execution of work packages for mill operations.\xc2\xb7Development of detailed scopes of work for installations related to scan card access systems, 120 V \xe2\x80\x93 600 V temporary construction power, IT connections including wireless access points, switches, and cameras.\xc2\xb7Work with software such as Auto Cad, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Document Management Software\xc2\xb7Oversee installations of low to medium voltage electrical equipment, building services components, instrumentation, etc., while ensuring schedule and budget are maintained and monitoring job quality and safety.\xc2\xb7Assist Systems Engineers on maintenance, programming, and configuration of Mill Control SystemsWe Offer:\xc2\xb7Personal and Professional Development Opportunities\xc2\xb7Career Growth Opportunities in Engineering, Leadership, Maintenance, and Many Other Disciplines\xc2\xb7Employee Programs: Student Housing for qualifying candidates, Free Parking\xc2\xb7More Than $400 Million Recently Invested into Improving and Growing All Our Mills.This position will be based on-site at one of our 4 mill locations.
