Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a good fundamental knowledge of electronic systems and embedded firmware both at the system and sub system levels. Knowledge of practical application, design, development of analog and digital electronic systems.

Under general direction of senior level Electrical Engineers, follow/implement planned objectives, implement outlined test and design qualification practices. With guidance, work on design projects involving mixed signal systems (analog/digital) and software/firmware development (C/C++) in embedded control environments. Follow standardized development processes and support systems applications using broad engineering concepts and research techniques. Document specifications, qualification test results and facilitate transition of product design, enhancement to full production.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with functional department lead on key project design requirements to ensure design meets target objectives and is managed, tracked and controlled according to established engineering processes. Work effectively in a team environment with other colleagues to apply sound design practices through - formal design reviews; individual mentoring; team collaboration. Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve problems at both the circuit and system level. Demonstrate analytical problem solving skills. Follow company and departmental processes and procedures. Execute qualification test plans, procedures reports. Compile and analyze data to ensure design verification validation and performance standards are met. Support Product introduction documentation (i.e. Test Instructions, Work Instructions, etc.)

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic or Software Engineering. Strong knowledge of CAD tools, MSOffice suite, or Altium Designer. Experience with C/C++ programming for embedded systems development is preferred. Familiarity with interpreting instructions, drawings, specifications, procedures and computer-generated data. Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to internal and external customer. Language Skills - Fluent in English Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident with legal status to work in Canada.

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
