The Victoria office of e2 Electrical Engineering is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to contribute to business growth while elevating the quality of our electrical engineering drawings and services. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency with construction and consulting codes and standards, and bring significant experience in electrical building consulting. We are looking for someone who is not only self-motivated and a personable leader but also a strong mentor to others. The ideal candidate will bring vision and purpose beyond the typical expectations of an intermediate Engineer.

Key Responsibilities



Support the electrical engineering of projects of varying complexity and size, contributing to design and delivery under the guidance of senior engineers or the Principal-in-Charge.

Assist in the preparation of project deliverables, including reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Apply knowledge of applicable codes and standards to support project design and ensure compliance.

Collaborate with project teams, including designers and CAD technicians, to develop equipment selections, calculations, and design drawings.

Assist in project management tasks, such as preparing schedules, monitoring progress, and coordinating documentation with internal and external stakeholders.

Support business development efforts by contributing to proposal preparation and responding to technical queries as required.

Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and project teams to provide technical input and support project delivery.

Conduct or assist with site reviews of existing installations and evaluate their impact on project design.

Support quality control processes, including internal reviews of drawings, calculations, and other project documentation.

Help ensure project tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within allocated budgets and schedules.

Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to design processes, workflows, and project procedures.

Assist with project financials, including tracking project hours and supporting accounts receivable processes when needed.

Your Key Skills



Possesses 4 or more years of hands-on engineering experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

Motivated by purpose and a broader vision

Proficient in electrical and building codes

Highly driven with strong interpersonal skills

Exhibits leadership and works independently

Able to manage multiple projects and clients in a complex environment

Strong communication skills, with experience building client and team relationships

Proven ability to foster lasting client partnerships

Willing to go above and beyond standard hours to ensure project success and client satisfaction
