Responsabilities:

  • Gather information on electrical power distribution systems to effectively document and analyze industrial and manufacturing facilities. Studies include protective device coordination, short circuit analysis, arc flash, load flows, ground evaluation, harmonic analysis, power quality analysis, etc. utilizing the latest engineering software.
  • Generate comprehensive computerized reports and analysis which include system reliability considerations, plant grounding and surge protection evaluation, utility bill analysis, specific recommendations for improvement of overall safety and reliability of power system plus detailed plans for action item improvements as well as plans for future expansion, consolidation of services, equipment relocation, etc.
  • Write technical reports summarizing test results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) Degree with an Emphasis in Power System
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience (open to juniors as we have 2 positions open)
  • Must Be Fluent in English and French
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Benefits
The candidate will be required to train at the headquarters in Pasadena, California for the first 2 months once hired.
In addition, employment will require 4-6 trips per year for the first 2 years to one of our California offices for training and on-site projects.
