Perform detailed HVDC and FACTS studies and apply them to complex power systems
Work with clients, project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Guide, mentor and train junior engineers in HVDC/FACTS technologies
Represent BBA in technical committees and industry working groups
Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development activities
Prepare and review reports, specifications, proposals and estimates.

Summary of certifications and job requirements
Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. in electrical engineering
P.Eng. designation or eligibility for registration
At least 10 years of industry experience, including 5+ years in HVDC/FACTS
Expertise in HVDC/FACTS studies and related codes and standards
Expert PSCAD user
Proficient in PSSE
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to travel within Canada, the USA and internationally for short-term assignments
Project management knowledge (scoping, planning, estimating)
Familiarity with electrical protection and control systems
Knowledge of IEEE, NEC or IEC standards
Knowledgeable in real-time simulation
