SUMMARY

The Hardware Design department is responsible for providing hardware solutions for all training devices. Our multidisciplinary team, trained and dedicated to its task, has a vast know-how in many sectors such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and electronicsengineering.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be part of a team responsible for the electrical design, conditioning and electrical systems support of the flight simulator cockpit.
  • Participate in the analysis of drawings, specifications and requirements for both internal and external customers.
  • Assist in defining the hardware configuration of the simulator, develop hardware lists, wiring diagrams and schematics of the electrical system needed to stimulate these equipment in a simulation environment.
  • Participate in design activities between the different engineering groups and manufacturing.
  • Define and prepare documentation and technical drawings for simulated instruments and panels
  • Perform revisions of requirements and designs (PDRs, CDRs).
  • Find technical solutions to meet the requirements of the projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • College diploma (DEC) in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts
  • Working knowledge of CAD systems and word processing software and spreadsheets.
  • Good technical writing and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of electrical systems, avionics and power systems.
  • Knowledge of aeronautical instrumentation, analog / digital conversion, serialcommunication buses such as RS-232/422, USB and ARINC 429, ARINC 600 and Mil-1553 are an asset.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a context of multiple and complex deliveries.
  • Experience with E2A, SEE Electrical, Powerdraft an asset.
  • Essential bilingualism.

RESPONSABILITa?S
  • Faire partie d'une equipe responsable de la conception electrique, du conditionnement et du soutien des systames electriques du poste de pilotage du simulateur de vol.
  • Participer a l'analyse des dessins, des specifications et exigences a la fois des clients internes et externes.
  • Aider a definir la configuration du materiel du simulateur, developper des listes de materiel, des diagrammes du cablage et des schemas du systame electrique necessaire pour stimuler ces equipements dans un environnement de simulation.
  • Participer aux activites de conception menees entre les differents groupes d'ingenierie et la fabrication.
  • Definir et preparer la documentation et les dessins techniques relatifs aux instruments et panneaux simules
  • Effectuer des revisions de requis et de conceptions (PDRs, CDRs).
  • Trouver des solutions techniques pour rencontrer les requis des projets
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Diplame d'etudes collegiales (DEC) en genie electrique ou equivalent.
  • Connaissance des concepts d'ingenierie electriques
  • Connaissance pratique des systames de CAO et des logiciels de traitement de texte et des tableurs electroniques.
  • Bonnes habilites en redaction technique et en communication
  • Bonne connaissance des systames electriques, avioniques et des systames d'alimentation.
  • Connaissance de l'instrumentation aeronautique, de la conversion analogique/numerique, des bus de communication serie tels que RS-232/422, USB et des normes ARINC 429, ARINC 600 et Mil-1553 un atout.
  • Capacite a gerer les priorites dans un contexte de livraisons multiples et complexes.
  • Experience avec E2A, SEE Electrical, Powerdraft un atout.
  • Bilinguisme essentiel.
