.Summary
As an Electrical Assembler you will assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies for traffic signal control systems. Fill work orders, follow production drawings and verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
Duties:
Assemble and wire electrical sub-assemblies Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders Pack finished products for shipment Fabricate or modify parts, using shop equipment Responsible for meeting deadlines Clean, maintain and organize work and desk area Maintain stock/inventory levels Troubleshoot electrical assemblies Perform related duties as needed by supervision
Physical Demands and Abilities:
Regularly required to stand for long periods of time
Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
Regularly required to use hand tools, air tools, electrical toolsQualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or related experience - Electrical Training Preferred
Minimum 2-year Assembly, Machine Operator and/or Manufacturing Experience
Ability to understand and follow instructions Attention to detail Maintain a clean & safe environment Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics and technical data sheets Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without limitations or restrictionsJob Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
