Job Overview

Our client specializes in custom, make-to-order (MTO) manufacturing of industrial strapping equipment. We are committed to delivering innovative, high-quality solutions that meet our customers' unique needs. We are currently seeking a Production Electrical Assembler / Electrician to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Build Main Electrical Cabinets and various electrical junction boxes for strapping machines. Ensure completeness of all electrical subassemblies for each machine order. Perform top-level wiring on machines, ensuring proper routing and secure connections. Execute safe machine power-up procedures in accordance with safety standards. Support troubleshooting and testing of machines prior to shipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately. Collaborate with mechanical and controls teams to ensure timely and quality builds. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

Panel builder automation skills is a strong asset Completion of a recognized Electrical program or equivalent education. 442A or 309A license, or equivalent experience. (1-3 years) Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required. Experience as a panel builder is considered a strong asset. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Shift hours: 8:30 am to 5 pm (Mon to Fri), OT flexibility needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
