Your Role:

Bring innovative electrical systems to life as an Electrical Assembler! In this hands-on role, you'll:

Fit motor starters, circuit breakers, and control devices into custom made panels and switchboards Wire PLCs and advanced electrical equipment with precision Work from drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to perform electrical and mechanical assembly Test and troubleshoot equipment to ensure top performance Keep the workshop sharp and efficient Support shipping, receiving, and shop documentation to keep on schedule

Qualifications and Experience:

Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering or related field Use of standard panel shop hand and power tools Relevant work experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Experience That Will Put You Ahead:

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Ability to detail electrical systems and components from engineering sketches Knowledge of AutoCAD Registered apprentice or licensed electrician Experience building electrical panels Experience with industrial control systems Experience with marine control systems Forklift certification 3D drafting

Licenses:

Valid driver's license (G2 or G)
