We are seeking qualified individuals for the role of Electrical Area Manager. This position can be on a fly in fly out rotational schedule. This position will follow a 7 on 7 off shift rotation.
Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee day to day activities of Electrical Supervisors, TOS Team Lead, , Shift Planner/ Scheduler and frontline Operations and Maintenance employees.
• Develop and execute performance target measures for the electrical team.
• Direct and coordinate the execution of electrical projects and plans to achieve the desired results in safety, quality and cost.
• Monitor key performance indicators on a continuous basis to improve process efficiency, product quality and cost effectiveness.
• Complete performance management tools for all direct reports as required.
• Ensure team members abide by the guidelines set forth in the collective agreement as well as Tacora\xe2\x80\x99s employment policies.
• Promote and encourage teamwork and high-performance standards and health and environmental stewardship throughout the site.
• Provide support and feedback to the team to ensure continuous improvement and development.
• Provide effective, ongoing communications to ensure the team are aware of ongoing expectations, issues or changes.
• Develop contingency and succession plans for electricians and supervisor retention.
• Work closely with Operations and Maintenance personnel.
• Participate in the development of the capital and maintenance budgets.
• Respond to emergencies as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of processing facility operations in the Mining industry including Concentrator/Mine maintenance, safety, maintenance, equipment, and staff utilization.
• An educational background in a related field (electrical engineering, trades, business, technical)
• Ellipse/CMMS knowledge preferred
• Project management with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in document control systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively train and mentor employees.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent work ethic, and attendance record.
