Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated electrical apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, including industrial and construction experience. This role involves working with various electrical systems, reading blueprints and schematics, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The electrical apprentice will play a crucial role in both new installations and renovation projects, utilizing their expertise to deliver high-quality workmanship. Motor experience and controls are very important.

Duties

Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to install and repair electrical systems. Perform installations of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with local codes. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues across various settings, including industrial environments. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for installation and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion of tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with industrial electrician experience. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in electrical work. Experience in construction environments with a focus on renovation projects is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve project goals. Drivers license
