Position Overview

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Electric Motor Rewinder to join our growing team.
In this hands-on role, you'll test, rewind, recondition, and rebuild AC/DC electric motors and related electro-mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Rebuild, refurbish, and repair AC/DC electric motors, custom motors, and pumps Perform stator rewinding for a variety of motor types Assemble and test electric motor stators and components Operate an overhead crane and other lifting equipment safely Test windings for clearance, grounding, and short circuits Replace shafts, bearings, seals, and other key components Perform disassembly, inspection, and repair in-shop Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in AC/DC motor repair and rewinding Able to lift and position components up to 50 lbs Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts Solid understanding of mechanical fundamentals and safe work practices Good written and verbal communication skills in English Dependable, detail-oriented, and proud of doing quality work
