Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Lake Utopia Paper based in St. George, New Brunswick (located approximately 40 minutes outside the city of Saint John)

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Team Leader, you will supervise a crew of approximately 15 electrical & instrumentation tradespeople throughout the mill, providing leadership in the areas of safety, housekeeping, productivity, quality and best practices. Your day-to-day work will also include facilitating problem-solving and troubleshooting activities and working collaboratively with team members in all departments. As a member of the maintenance team, you will also have opportunities to get involved with cross-functional strategic initiatives and training & development activities.

We operate four Pulp and Paper Mills out of Saint John and St. George, New Brunswick that produce a combined one million tonnes of product and employ over 1000 employees.

You Have:

• A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or other completed 2-year (minimum) post-secondary program in Engineering or another technical discipline and/or a Red Seal in an Electrical/Instrumentation trade
• 3-5 years of experience in Pulp & Paper or other industrial environments considered an asset
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Desire to grow and develop your leadership and technical capabilities
• Exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge on CMMS software (experience on JD Edwards E1 an asset)
• WO management
• Scheduling management
