How will you make an impact?
The EHS Coordinator supports the department with the following activities, conducting client fit testing, coordination, and delivery of EHS orientations, generation of department purchases orders, purchasing of office supplies, invoice reconciliation, purchasing of issuance of part numbers, EHS training administrator in success factors, updating of lead sheets, issues new SAP part codes to PDS and coordinates external regulatory training. Summary:

Provides Environmental Heath and Safety (EHS) support to the team, Site, Operations, and Pharmaceutical Development Services.

What will you do?

Responsibilities

• Provides support to EHS Department
• Conducts respiratory fit testing of employees and clients
• Arranges & manages new hire orientation training
• Schedules various EHS Training for site staff
• Maintains Material Safety Data Sheets
• Administrative support to the Joint Health & Safety Committee
• Manages JHSC inspections schedule & team
• Database & file management:

• Employee tracking
• Evacuation lists
• Filing training records
• Filing waste manifests
• Orders supplies for the EHS department
• Maintains EHS bulletin boards and EHS-related postings throughout the site
• Monitors and updates Spill kits
• Special projects as needed for EHS/Health Center
• Performs alternating or rotating shift work (as required)

How will you get here:

Education:

College/Technical School diploma

Experience:

Previous experience in an EHS environment

Equivalency:

Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High integrity for dealing with confidential information.
• Demonstrated professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Proficiency with the English Language.
