Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
- Provide support to students with special needs, including those with disabilities or learning difficulties
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Help students with daily tasks, such as eating, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Monitor student behavior and assist in managing classroom discipline
- Support students in their academic progress by providing individualized attention and assistance
- Assist in preparing materials and resources for classroom activities
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment Qualifications
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with students with inclusion needs
- Basic math skills to assist students with arithmetic concepts
- Passion for educating and supporting children\'s development. Education - ECE Level 1, 2 or 3 - Educational Assistant Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $15.00-$27.00 per hour Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
