Educational Assistant
Location:
Mountview
Elementary
15 hours weekly (mornings)
Commencing as soon as a suitable candidate is found until June 29, 2025
The successful applicant will provide support to students in grades K-5.
Desirable qualifications and attributes:
Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable education Ability to build upon and facilitate positive relationships through valued attachments Ability to support inclusive education opportunities for students in a variety of grades Experience with Complex Special Educational Needs and Autism is considered an asset Ability to work collaboratively as a team member Ability to work with paraprofessionals such as speech pathologist, occupational therapists and school based learning team
Experience supporting Deaf or hard of hearing individuals is an asset
