Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training an asset; Ability and experience in working with children; Physical ability to work with active students; Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment; A positive and flexible attitude to change; Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation; Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion.

Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required; Work one on one with students and within a classroom setting; Willingness to accompany a student on the bus to and from school as required; Based on needs of individual students, provide individual students with assistance in speech, motor, and language development and social and life skills; Work as part of a team in development and implementation of Individual Improvement Plan.
