Educational Assistant (EA) and Learning Resource Coordinator (LRC)

St. Marguerite Catholic School is a Kindergarten to Grade 4 School

St. Marguerite Catholic School invites applications for a full-time support position in Spruce Grove, AB. The assignment is for 0.7 FTE as Educational Assistant and 0.3 FTE as Learning Resource Coordinator (LRC) commencing the first day of the 2025-2026 school year.


Salary Range $18.98 to $26.83 hourly as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.

Preference Given to Candidates with the following Qualifications:

Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices Experience working with students with diverse needs Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments (SIVA) training Mental Health First Aid or equivalent Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate and experience with Speech/Language Assistance are assets Strong interest in, and knowledge of literature and literacy. The ability to perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor that are consistent with training and experience.
