Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education to students, particularly those with special needs. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment and enhancing the educational experience for all students, including those with disabilities.

Responsibilities

Provide support in classroom management to create a positive and productive learning atmosphere. Work closely with students, offering guidance and assistance in their development Facilitate communication between students and teachers, ensuring that all students understand instructions and materials. Support the development of social skills among students through structured activities and interactions. Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Plans where applicable Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. One on One support for children that require time away from classroom

Qualifications

Previous classroom experience is highly desirable, particularly in early childhood education or special education settings. Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively. Experience working with children, especially those with disabilities or special needs. A passion for working with people with disabilities and a commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment. This position is part time with room for additional hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.72 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
