Accomplished by conducting effective training seminars, driving point of sale initiatives throughout assigned Territory, and providing at-counter coaching and specialized training in Focus Doors. Work with Field Sales to increase loyalty by developing highly motivated, knowledgeable, and productive Beauty Stylists and Counter Managers.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with local Field Sales team and corporate Education Team to determine training needs and develop appropriate action plans to ensure total territory achieves retail sales goals.
  • Conduct all training seminars for Beauty Stylists and Counter Managers in territory; inclusive of Seasonal Seminar twice a year, Basic Induction Seminar based on turnover needs, and Specialization Seminars based on business need.
  • Train all counters in partnership with Account Executives on standard D.I.O.R. Art of Selling techniques.
  • Conduct initial orientation training for newly hired Beauty Stylists in top doors, and oversee orientation training strategy for the Territory
  • Partner with Account Executives to ensure they have necessary education materials for stores not covered by Education Managers.
  • Ensure the proper usage of the DBR, Business Planner, and Dior-Direct Client Card through in store and seminar trainings.
  • Drive launch sell-out through seminar training, pre-training calls as needed, in store selling, and building expertise with Field Sales team.
  • Conduct training with Fragrance Associates as needed based on launches, and drive fragrance expertise plans for the territory.
  • Conduct follow-up coaching sessions to enhance Beauty Stylistsxe2x80x99 selling skills and product knowledge in Top doors.
  • Monitor and analyze territory sales performance, focusing on product sell- through and a mix of business in top doors.
  • Participate in the selection and interview process of Beauty Stylists and Counter Managers in top doors.
  • Plan follow-up coaching for the Territory following seminars with Field Sales partners.
  • Evaluate Counter Managersxe2x80x99 and Beauty Stylistsxe2x80x99 skills on an on-going basis and conduct new product training as needed.
  • Work with Counter Managers in-store to enhance product knowledge, to develop selling skills, and to encourage team management and business analysis skills.
  • Develop a positive relationship with the Menxe2x80x99s & Womenxe2x80x99s Fragrance Associates through in store and seasonal focused trainings.
  • Conduct training on Special Events with Beauty Stylists and appropriate Selling Specialists in seminars and top doors.
  • Instill a motivational and challenging work environment necessary to promote Beauty Stylist longevity.
  • Enforce Beauty Stylist image guidelines by always wearing the appropriate attire in-store as well as during training seminars.
  • Maintain constant and productive communication/partnership with Field Sales partners.
  • Support and drive eventing, either virtually or in person.
  • Conduct product knowledge training for retailer associates and masterclasses for clients in support of Western Canada field teamxe2x80x99s sales goals.
  • Support RSD and AEs in elevating brand image and client experience through education and eventing initiatives.
  • Manage overall experience partnership with regards to merchandising pieces, or event execution, having the responsibility to work with the AE and Regionals directly within their territories.
  • Responsible for the tracking and organization of the Western Canada Education Budget in partnership with Regional Sales Director
  • Lead the BC Holiday Gift program annually, along with logistics behind the Longevity Award program
  • Manage forecasts, inventory levels and budget allocation of Beauty Stylist Uniforms. Responsible for communication and Central partnership on all elements. Lead field communication and warehouse communication planning for online ordering process.
  • Organize and lead Golden BC Program for the Western Canada field team
  • All other job-related activities.
Supervision received: Regional Sales Director- WestQualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in prestige cosmetics sales and training (sell-thru)
  • Excellent communicator xe2x80x93 both verbal & written
  • Strong presentation and coaching skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Creative and strategic thinker; detail -oriented multi-tasker
  • Travel varies by territory and may be extensive
  • Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgement
  • Fluency in English is required and Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred
