Langley Christian School invites applications for on-call education assistants for all our campuses.
THE POSITION
Be an advocate for students and their needs.
Uphold strict privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Provide support to the student individually (1:1) or in small groups.
Assist in adapting situations, environment, materials and activities so the student can be successful.
Implement IEP goals, planned strategies and activities for the student.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and/or further training supporting students with autism or FASD, personal care needs or learning differences.
Evidence of a strong sense of purpose and identity built on Biblical principles and participation in a local Christian church community.
Strong professional references
Oral and written communication skills
