HWT understands that not all shipment are the same and can provide individualized transportation solutions that meet all customers needs. Harv Wilkening Transport Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires a Dispatch Administrator at their Edmonton, AB location. This position is Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers to meet customer requirements while maintaining safe and efficient operations
• Book customer appointments
• Monitor equipment and schedule for maintenance/repairs as required
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding status of shipments
• Coordinate preventative maintenance
• Handle various administrative duties

Qualifications

• Experience in the Transportation Industry
• Experience with TMW is considered an asset
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Knowledge and experience in handling various kinds of freight
• Knowledge of Hours of Service and Electronic Logs
• Strong decision making skills
• Good knowledge of city and highway routes
