Position SummaryEDL 829 - Supporting Indigenous Student Success
This course will focus on Indigenous leadership, research, and practice that supports Indigenous student success. Successful examples of relevant Indigenous educational practice will be emphasized, with a specific focus on local/regional content. An Indigenous (Nehinuw) model of effective teaching will be highlighted.
Position RequirementsNormally it is preferred that applicants will have a Ph.D. degree in Education appropriate to the area of instruction. Applicants should also have experience in the education system appropriate to the content of the course applied for, knowledge of, and experience with the Saskatchewan curriculum, knowledge and experience with Faculty of Education programs, and current knowledge of issues related to the course for which the applicant has applied. University teaching experience is an asset.
