Course Description
Commonalities and differences between students with specific learning disabilities, and related teaching approaches. Emphasis on methods, materials, and technology for teaching academic content as well as social skills. Application component: modifying and teaching content areas to students experiencing learning difficulties.

• Master's or PhD in Educational Psychology, Human Development, Applied Psychology, Child Development, Clinical Psychology, or equivalent

Experience/Experience

• Background and/or courses in inclusive education
• Background and/or courses in the area of childhood learning difficulties
• Experience working with teachers

Autre/Other

• Adherence to evolving program requirements concerning course content and program-developed competencies; course content and references must reflect the most current advances in the field

Additional Information:
Effective dates of appointment are August 20, 2025 to December 26, 2025. Course dates are August 27, 2025 to December 3, 2025. This course will be offered in-person on campus at McGill.
