As an eCommerce Specialist you will be responsible for supporting all website-related functions, including managing promotion timing, website content changes, quality assurance checks, and general day-to-day support of an eCommerce operation.

As the eCommerce Specialist you will:
Own and manage the promotions process online, coordinating with marketing, merchandising and development teams to build, publish, QA test and audit web development activity for accuracy and functionality.
Work with cross-functional teams to execute promotions and merchandising functions online.
Manage webpage development and/or custom category pages that need to be adjusted and published as required to coincide with ongoing marketing, features, and promotional material, plus additional internal web properties and asset management systems.
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Track performance metrics to identify trends across products, categories, landing pages, and present ideas for future improvement/development.
Coordinate the delivery of copy and creative assets to the company's website.
Review and update existing collection and information pages to include the most up-to-date promotion and merchandising information and features.
Be responsible for authoring content by selecting templates, components and modules, and adding/editing content (copy, images, video, tagging, SEO metadata) to compose web content based on digital brand guidelines and needs.
Manage and appropriately test any ongoing website enhancements, working with internal staff and supporting technology partners to implement new initiatives or features successfully.
Oversee standard website order and return operations so that customer transactions work as expected.
Be responsible for processing internal/visitor feedback and reporting on concerns or issues regarding product updates, owning the items that require fixing and ensuring they are set immediately or through collaboration with other departments escalating via service requests.
As a successful candidate you will have the following:
Bachelor degree or diploma in related field (ecommerce, computer science, communications) is a plus. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
2+ years of web-specific experience in content management, merchandising or administration.
Previous experience with eCommerce platforms or Content Management Systems (CMS) is a must, with the ability to use drag and drop page builders to create/edit landing pages.
Experience in merchandising products on an eCommerce platform.
Must be familiar with Google Analytics and be tech-savvy.
High-Intermediate use of Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator preferred.
Basic understanding of SEO principles and practices.
Experience using Shopify considered an asset, and Shopify Plus with tools like Flow, Scripts, Launchpad, meta fields is a bonus.
Knowledge of HTML required, with JSON, XML, RUBY is an asset but not required.
