Job Description






As an E-commerce Site Administrator, you will be the linchpin in our online retail operations, responsible
for the technical management and optimization of our e-commerce platforms. Your role is crucial in
ensuring a seamless and efficient online shopping experience for our customers. From website
maintenance to troubleshooting, your expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of our e-commerce initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce websites, ensuring its functionality,
    responsiveness, and user-friendliness. Regularly update product listings, images, and other
    content to keep the site current.
  • Act as the go-to person for identifying and resolving technical issues on the e-commerce
    platforms. Collaborate with IT and development teams to address glitches, bugs, or any
    impediments to smooth online operations.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect customer data and ensure
    compliance with relevant regulations. Stay abreast of industry best practices and updates to
    mitigate potential risks.
  • Manage and optimize payment gateways to ensure secure and seamless transactions. Stay
    informed about new payment technologies and implement enhancements as needed.
  • Implement and oversee search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to enhance the visibility of
    the e-commerce site. Work closely with digital marketing teams to improve organic search
    rankings and drive traffic.
  • Collaborate and design with user experience teams to enhance website navigation, optimize
    product pages, and improve overall user satisfaction. Conduct regular usability tests and
    implement improvements based on feedback.
  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor website performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs),
    and generate regular reports. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and
    optimize the user journey.
  • Stay current on e-commerce trends, technologies, and platforms. Evaluate and recommend
    updates or new technologies that can enhance the overall efficiency and functionality of the e commerce ecosystems.
  • Maintain logs of copydecks, change management requests and the ability to analyze and
    proactively identify any risk.
  • Ability to run and document UAT testing scenarios in partnership with stakeholders prior to
    launch
  • Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the
    departments Quality Management System
  • Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to
    notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns. Responsible for
    completing Accident Reports for all direct reports who injure themselves on the job, within 24
    hours of the incident
  • Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with
    appropriate Bayshore personnel
  • Perform other duties as assigned to assist the business as required.

Job Qualification
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of proven experience as an E-commerce Site Administrator or similar role
  • Knowledge of Shopify platform and online security protocols.
  • Proficiency in web development languages (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) with a good
    understanding of Ruby, Python, PHP, Node JS
  • Fundamental proficiency in graphic design using Photoshop or a similar software an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Have excellent multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills, including attention to
    detail and the ability to set priorities.
  • Can work independently and within a team setting with highly developed interpersonal skills.
