E-COMMERCE OPERATION MANAGERRoles and Responsibilities_________________________________________________________________________Our ideal candidate is an innovative retailer who is obsessive about customer behavior and focused on understanding how and why people shop, knows their numbers inside and out, and is passionate about owning the success of scaling our online business in an omni-channel environment. Success in this role requires the right balance of vision and operational excellence, and collaboration with team members in Planning, Customer Experience, Finance and Logistics, as well as Commercial and Marketing peersResponsibilities and DutiesDay to Day Operation/ Management Responsible for daily e-commerce operation and assign duties, including sales, customer service, target traffic promotions, data analysis, merchandise selection optimization, fulfillment and returns. Manage all warehouse activities in support of pick, pack, shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations and implement solutions for fulfillment issues including order mispacks and transit time delays Develop and document a catalog of SOPs and best practices for all operating systems and maintains strict inventory control processes and rules. Review, analyze, modify and implement efficient and effective daily plans, department processes, policies, and procedures, and continuously improve cost, speed, and accuracy performance of distribution network Analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements sales and operation Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.Marketing Identify and survey market trends, new product launches/ innovations, and stay up to date on trends in the e-commerce and retail industry Coordinate marketing support and execution of assets with digital, marketing, and/or web agency Manage online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness; Oversee the social media strategy for the company & Social Media Calendar Building/Execution Ensure innovative and user-friendly customer-facing features for e-commerce platformsExperience, Education and Designations: Diploma / Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in scaling ecommerce businesses in multi-channel environments, preferably in CPG industry Minimum 3 years of supervisory / manager experienceKnowledge, Skills and Attributes: Strong business acumen with entrepreneurial mindset Proven leadership in P&L management Demonstrates creative thinking and problem solving, with ability to leverage and translate data into meaningful action Business level knowledge of the technology ecosystem that supports an ecommerce business eg. Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Google Analytics, Product Information Management tools, Product Review platforms, Fraud Management Solutions, and Order Management Systems Must have a collaborative spirit, keen sense of organization and attention to detail
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, particularly with executive leaders Strong sense of urgency and ability to respond to changing situations, with track record of prioritizing efforts based on ROI Recognized as a subject matter expert in online retailing with deep understanding of industry best practices and relevant business models Excellent leadership, team-building and management skills Chinese speaking is a mustJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $39,885.00-$50,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
