Job Summary



Adventureproshop.ca is a powersports & marine gear retail business with ambitions to scale our digital presence. We're looking for someone who can take full ownership of running our online store, expanding sales, and improving user experience and operations.

You'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our online store: listing and organizing products, optimizing the site, managing promotions, maintaining inventory accuracy, working with marketing, and continuously finding ways to grow our e-commerce revenue. You are both a doer (uploading products, troubleshooting) and a strategist (tracking metrics, proposing improvements).

As an E-Commerce Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind our online sales strategy, ensuring that our digital storefront not only attracts visitors but converts them into loyal customers. You will leverage your expertise in digital marketing, analytics, and e-commerce best practices to enhance our online presence and optimize the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities



Store / Product Management



Upload new product listings: titles, descriptions, images, specs, pricing, variants, categories Maintain and update existing product pages (optimize copy, images, attributes) Manage inventory synchronization between physical and online (ensure stock accuracy) Monitor and resolve any product listing issues (missing data, image issues, broken links) Manage promotions, discount codes, bundles, flash sales Coordinate with purchasing / warehouse / suppliers to ensure timely stock updates and prevent oversells Monitor site health (broken links, 404s, out-of-stock pages, site speed, crawl issues)

E-Commerce Performance / Growth



Analyze sales, conversion rates, traffic, cart abandonment, AOV (average order value), customer acquisition cost, etc. Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, e-commerce dashboards) and generate regular reports with insights Run A/B tests (e.g. product page layout, calls to action, pricing, upsells) Work with marketing (SEO, SEM, email campaigns, social media) to drive traffic and conversions Identify opportunities for partnerships, affiliate marketing, cross-channel growth Monitor competitor sites, market trends, and do periodic reviews for pricing, features, promotions

Customer Experience & Support Liaison



Ensure product information is accurate, consistent, and clear Help resolve any product or listing-related customer service issues Ensure customer reviews / Q&A are monitored and acted on

Technical & Platform Management



Work with the web / dev team (or vendor) for site changes, feature rollouts, bug fixes Understand the e-commerce platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.), plugins/extensions, and integrations (inventory systems, shipping, ERP) Manage payment gateways, shipping settings, taxes, logistics integration Ensure site security, backups, and best practices

Miscellaneous / Cross-Functional



Collaborate with marketing, content, design, logistics teams Stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends (UX, mobile commerce, headless commerce, emerging tools) Provide input into inventory buying / product selection (based on data) Document processes and train others (if scaling)

Required Skills & Qualifications



2+ years experience running or supporting an e-commerce website (or strong analogous experience) Strong attention to detail (product data consistency, image quality, spelling, layout) Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc) Experience with analytics, reporting, A/B testing Basic HTML / CSS knowledge is a plus (for quick fixes) Understanding of SEO / conversion optimization principles Good communication skills (verbal, written) Ability to prioritize, manage multiple streams of work, and work independently Problem-solving mindset: you see issues and proactively fix them Comfort working with cross-functional teams

Preferred / Nice-to-have



Experience in powersports, marine, or outdoor gear space Experience with digital marketing (PPC, Facebook Ads, email marketing) Warehouse / inventory experience Basic graphic skills (cropping images, creating product banners)

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
