JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLE: eCommerce catalog & copywriter specialist. (In-Office)

REPORTS TO: Merchandising

As the primary eCommerce product specialist on the merchandise team, you will be responsible for completing the product publishing process including the collecting of vendor templates, images, and copywriting to ensure the product is properly represented on leons.ca. You will own the online catalog process from start to finish and work to enhance existing product online.

Role Expectations:

• Work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment while collaborating with various stakeholders including executive-level managers.
• Create compelling content that lives on Leons.ca product description pages.
• Track production progress daily and generate progress reports as needed.
• Own all facets of catalogue management and execution in line with business demands.
• Prepare and plan weekly catalog meetings with key vendors.
• Coordinate translations and approvals across various departments.
• Maintain and update e-commerce content.

• Comfortable with project management.
• Excellent creative writing and editing skills
• 2-3 years of eCommerce experience a plus.
• Graphic Design experience is a plus.
• Shopify experience a plus.
• Ability to understand/apply/maintain the brand tone of voice
• Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline an asset
• Bilingual (English/French) an asset (but not mandatory)
• Ability to collaborate with a team and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Required in-office presence
