Based out of one of our office locations or out of your home office in Alberta or British Columbia, you\xe2\x80\x99ll have the opportunity to work as part of multi-disciplinary project teams associated with our Western Canada Offices to contribute to the environmental planning and permitting efforts of government and privately-owned infrastructure projects. • Degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Geography, Biology/Ecology or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in environmental consulting in Western Canada, particularly oil and gas, mining, energy, or renewables.
• Familiarity with provincial and federal environmental legislation and regulatory requirements
• Understanding of managing budgets and schedules.
• Demonstrated technical writing skills.
• Time management skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on multiple tasks and projects and meet project deadlines.
• Great communication skills both written and verbal and willingness to be client facing to grow our planning and permitting services.
• A driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and ability to provide a clean, 3 year driving abstract.

Ideally, You\xe2\x80\x99ll Also Have:

• Experience or knowledge of Indigenous cultural values
• Knowledge of municipal permitting requirements in BC
• Experience providing regulatory advice to clients and internal teams during all stages of the project life cycle
• Hold or can obtain a Professional Designation
• Strong consideration for safety
• Positive attitude and self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills suited to working with a variety of different teams.
• High attention to detail and strong desire to provide high quality deliverables.
• Interest in inspiring and supporting the development of others through high quality delivery for our clients.
